About

Music is energy, music is love and sharing.
Music is a vibration that becomes divine when it circulates between people. Yaya Minté has made her voice an instrument to spread messages of love, peace and hope.
Born in Pikine, on the outskirts of Dakar, Yaya Minté arrived in France at the age of 8. It is through music that he finds his way. His grandmother's voice resonates in him, music flows in his veins, his roots carry him. He grew up to the sound of traditional African music (Youssou N'dour, Baaba Maal) then under the influence of Soul fathers like Prince and Aaron Neville, he will broaden his horizons with composers like M. Berger and F. Cabrel.
He works his voice until he obtains this unique, indescribable and pure grain that touches the soul. A street singer for 20 years, he learns to capture the attention of people who are too rushed. More than 3000 concerts given will forge his experience and his state of mind. His philosophy of life is based on well-being, kindness and sharing. His audience receives him in the heart and each of his lives is a unique moment. Yaya Minté's Mantra is "you only live once...maybe" and he advances serenely on the path of his destiny, keeping in mind the fragility of dreams and this urgency to transmit with passion and gentleness what life teaches him.
Supported by this audience from which we can feel an almost magical connection with the artist, Yaya takes us into his spiritual and vibratory universe.
